Her name is Victory Boyd. She’s 27 years old and she grew up in an African American, Christian family of nine children. She started singing with her family when she was four years old. I had never heard of her until I read an article that reported that she had been scheduled to sing the national anthem on September 9th at the National Football League’s (NFL’s) opening season game. The day before the game, the NFL cancelled her performance because she had not received the COVID-19 vaccination.
The decision to cancel Boyd was based on an NFL policy that requires everyone who is on the playing field and sidelines to be fully vaccinated. There is no exception for individuals who test negative for the virus on the day they are scheduled to be on the field. There is also no exception for individuals who have had the virus and have tested positive for the antibody, which according to a recent Israeli study, confers longer lasting and stronger protection against infection than any of the available vaccines.
Keep in mind that Boyd was going to be singing outside on an open football field for less than three minutes. The NFL could have allowed her to perform her song while standing in the bleachers, on an upper deck, or at any other location in the stadium.
On the day of the game, Boyd posted a music video on YouTube of her singing The Star-Spangled Banner. She has a beautiful, unique voice that draws you into the meaning of the song. It would be worth your time to watch the video.
After the September 9 game was over, I watched several video clips of the game which showed that during the game, not one person on the sidelines was wearing a mask, including the coaches, journalists, photographers, and security personnel. It was reported that there were more than 65,000 fans who filled the stadium to capacity in Tampa, Florida to watch their Super Bowl champion Bucs beat the Cowboys. While there were probably some fans who wore masks, none of the thousands of fans that I saw while they were being panned by the cameras were wearing a mask.
The development and roll out of the vaccines in record time has benefited millions of lives, most notably those people who are at risk of serious illness and death if they contract the virus. Despite the success of the vaccines, there are valid reasons for some people to decide to wait until enough time has passed, so they can make a decision that is based on the long-term consequences of the vaccines.
The most dangerous trend that has arisen concerning the decision by individuals to take a wait-and-see approach is that our federal government, various state and local governments, the mainstream media, Hollywood, and the global corporations have all coalesced into a massive force that is now constantly badgering, intimidating, bullying, and threatening the 80 million Americans who have put off their decision to get vaccinated. Those people are being treated as though they are ignorant, uneducated fools who lack the mental capacity or intelligence to make an informed decision about their own health and the health of their children.
Here’s what Victory Boyd, who is one of those 80 million Americans, wrote on Instagram after her performance was cancelled by the NFL:
If I want to take the Vaccine, the decision will be between myself, my doctor, and my God. At this point, the Spirit of God is leading me to take a stand for freedom of choice.

We’re in a pretty scary time right now where discrimination and segregation is becoming socially acceptable and few are doing anything to resist. People are losing jobs, being denied service at restaurants, concert venues, and airports here in America all because of their deeply held convictions or medical conditions. From New York to California, and even in states such as Florida where I lost this opportunity of a lifetime. I’ve made peace with not being able to sing the National Anthem tomorrow for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But I have not and will not make peace with the re-emergence of segregation and discrimination. This is not okay and it’s about time that we say so. (Emphasis Added)
On the same day of the opening game of the NFL season (September 9), Vice President Kamala Harris spoke before a Reproductive Rights Round Table. Here’s what she said about the right of women to make decisions for themselves:
But I will repeat what I know you all know: The President and I are unequivocal in our support of Roe v. Wade and the constitutionality of Roe v. Wade, and the right of women to make decisions for themselves with whomever they choose — about their own bodies. And, needless to say, the right of women to make decisions about their own bodies is not negotiable. The right of women to make decisions about their own bodies is their decision; it is their body.
And no legislative institutions have the right to circumvent the Constitution of the United States in an attempt to interfere with, much less to prevent, a woman to make those decisions.
On the same day (September 9), President Biden gave a speech at the White House and behaved as though he was the ancient Egyptian ruler, Pharaoh. In his speech, he angrily chastised his subjects (the 80 million Americans) for dragging their feet and for not doing what they were told.
There was no mention of a plan in which Congress would debate the issue of forced vaccinations and then decide whether a new law should be passed. Instead, he opted for the iron fist of government and the threat that members of the military and individuals who are employed by the federal government will lose their jobs if they do not comply with his order to be vaccinated. He also threatened American businesses with more than 100 employees with a fine of $14,000 for each employee who is not forced to get the vaccination and then fired if they refuse.
The threats did not end there. Here’s how our modern-day Pharaoh threatened some of our state governors:
My plan also takes on elected officials in states that are undermining you and these lifesaving actions. Right now, local school officials are trying to keep children safe in a pandemic while their governor picks a fight with them and even threatens their salaries or their jobs. Talk about bullying in schools.
If they will not help, if those governors won’t help us beat the pandemic, I’ll use my power as president to get them out of the way.
So on the one hand we have Pharaoh and his underlings declaring war on the 80 million American citizens who have chosen to make decisions for themselves and their own bodies, while Pharaoh and his underlings insist that when it comes to terminating the life of an unborn child, women have a “right” to make decisions for themselves “and their own bodies.”
By the way, the Biden administration has refused to require COVID tests and vaccinations for the thousands of illegal aliens who cross our southern border each week and are then bussed to various cities throughout the United States. The same goes for the 60,000 Afghan refugees who were brought to our country during the past few weeks.
Listen closely. While Victory Boyd referred to our God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, President Biden referred to his power to force us to do whatever he orders us to do.
Our founding fathers laid the foundation for our Constitution by stating in the Declaration of Independence,
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. (Emphasis added.)
The unalienable rights that our founding fathers referred to can only come from God and no man or woman has the right to take them away from us. These rights include the free will that God gave to each of us to choose our own destiny. A free nation can only flourish and survive when a majority of its citizens believe in God. Without God, such rights do not exist and the only rights we are entitled to are the so-called rights that godless men and women impose upon us.
That 27-year-old woman who was cancelled by the morons who run the NFL would make a better president or vice-president than the evil man and woman who currently sit on their thrones and exercise their arbitrary power over us.
