on-the-takeLast weekend, after Mass at St. Philomena Church, a young woman in her 20s approached me and asked if I would write an article about what it means to show praise and thanksgiving to our Lord. The celebration of the Mass had been in honor of Christ the King and she felt that the upcoming Thanksgiving and Advent seasons provided a perfect opportunity for us to praise and thank God for what he has done for us.

A Cyberbully Retaliates Against Me

bad-reviewLast week, I received an email from Google that included the following notification concerning one of my law firm websites: “You just got a 1-star review.” Underneath the notification was a place for me to click to read the review. I immediately clicked on the link and found the review. The only thing on the review page was a company logo with one star that was an orange color.

Fat PeopleLast month, the Journal of the American Medical Association published two studies that showed that the obesity problem in America is getting worse. The first study focused on American adults and the second study focused on American children and adolescents between the ages of 2 and 19.
